As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote My kids went there for 2 years, While they did well with my son who is a very smart and great student with no learning issues they let my daughter who came is as a repeating 1st grader slip threw when she was in 3rd grade. She passed 1st grade there and she receiving services with title 1 and extra reading help. This helped her a a lot and she excelled well. In 2nd grade again she received title 1 and extra reading and math help and excelled and passed with no issues. Now we are in 3rd grade and come the spelling test time my Aunt and I noticed right away she was having issues with her words so we started working with her and alerted the school. We kept doing this and come 1st marking period I asked if there any reason to worry and got told "not yet" because it was early in the year. so we wait and she kept struggling. 2nd marking period and still issues and we still helped at home. Now keep in mind her Aunt is a prior school administrator with a bachelors degree in Mathematics and education. So her tutor is surly not the issue. I at this time request an I.E.P. and it was done before the 4th marking period and we were told she did not qualify for services of any kind and then I asked why title one was stopped and me not told at that time I was informed that their special needs area had grown and there were worse children then her so she didn't meet the requirements, BUT SHE IS FAILING READING AND SPELLING!!!!!! So now here we are at the END of the year and she is passed to 4th grades in all topics but failing grade but in guess what two subjects. Reading and spelling. She and my son will not be returning here. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
