As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote A little disappointed in this school. My son goes for his first day of public schooling and they had us bring him in for assessments all day for a 5 year old. It was a disorganized mess of stressed out teachers and 50 kids while they decide where they want these kids to be placed. I walk into the school to pick him up and he comes out with a scratch on his face and the nurse says he fell while on the monkey bars. I asked if an adult was around he said no. For one I NEVER take him on the monkey bars because he is 5 years old! Why is that even an option to have kindergarteners play on equipment meant for 4th graders and above? Sorely disappointed how my child was treated. They didn't even call me to tell me . Hey Wheatland how about you not treat 5 year olds like they are sheep you just have to corral and actually give the children attention. Sad I didn't originally go for a private school. Time to move on. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
