Open Quote I love Kingwood Montessori, it is the best place for my son. I love their holistic approach to learning, it is not just science, math, language that matter. Kindness, independence, team work, love, compassion, etc are other skills my 4 yr old is learning as well. Close Quote

Open Quote I'm a parent of a toddler who is doing great. The Montessori method is excellent for kids . I recently began reading the latest book by Jared Diamond The World UNtil Yesterday on how we can learn from traditional societies and he mentions that hunter gatherer groups have multi-age play groups of both sexes the way we lived for millions of years!!

Kids learn best in this type of environment at their own pace. This is KEY. The staff are extremely nice and sweet.

If you wish your kid to have an excellent start to life (the first years are crucial!, don't waste your money in a day-care), this is the school to be. I only wish that TX had a voucher system (even though my older son goes to an excellent public school with great teachers) he'd blossom or excel even more in a Montessori system. Close Quote

Open Quote This is an excellent school. So peaceful and all about education and building confidence in my child. She had no problem moving from sixth grade in the public middle school. She has even been placed in all honors courses. Thank you Kingwood Montessori School. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
