Garza Elementary's student population is predominantly Hispanic (91.59%), with a high percentage of economically disadvantaged students (73.28%). While the school's STAAR test scores generally lag behind district and state averages, particularly in the lower grade levels, its performance has shown improvement over the years, with higher proficiency rates in the upper grade levels.
