As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote The staff (including the principal) are very approachable, and the pupils seem happy. The clip up/down system that was so fiercely criticized by a previous reviewer is an excellent way of encouraging children to conduct themselves in a correct manner, and to strive to improve themselves educationally. The children receive individual and class prizes as a result of their good conduct and performance, so they soon realize that good behavior has good benefits.

My main criticism of the school is that teachers in the lowest grades often do not correct mistakes that children have made in their homework, which deprives them of the essential chance to learn from their mistakes. Close Quote

Open Quote This school might have good test scores, but that is not the whole picture. This school is abusive, demeaning and rude. Most of the teachers and staff here are unhappy and rude. You will rarely get a smile from any of them. If you forget to sign your child's planner this will happen: clip down on clip system and sit out of recess for 10 mins on the hot pavment with your back turned to everyone else. If you are not paying attention when directions are given, you get to do all of the above plus then move to the shade to re-do your assignment. If you make a sound during silent lunch, you sign a book, sit out at recess and go see a principal. If you tell them your child is discouraged by the constant clipping up and down of the clip system, they will tell you "It's no big deal" & "The kids really like the clip system". If you are sick, they will call you that day to come pick up the make-up work, so you will have it ready when you return. If you call about someone bullying your child, they say, "We don't want one chid to be left out, you're child does it too". Bottom line here: YOUR THOUGHTS, FEELING AND FACTS, AS A PARENT, ARE DISCOUNTED. THEY KNOW MORE THAN YOU DO ABOUT EVERYTHING. IT'S THEIR WAY OR THE HIGHWAY. No wonder their enrollment drops every year and they have to let teachers go, everyone wants out of this place. So, they get good test scores; your child will have non-stop worksheets and work drilled into them. The good news is, once your child gets to middle school, the load will be much easier for them, and they will have more respect and less homework. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
