Open Quote I am an aulmnus of Valley Forge Class of 1974. I was sent to the school because of the untimely death of my parents when I was a child. The school was academically helpful to me however, as a Jew, I was hazed with holocaust references and forced to attend Christian Chapel services. When I asked why Catholics were permitted to go to mass, while I was denied the opportunity to go to synagogue, I was never givn a fair explanation. How can the school state it is a non-demoninational school when you're forced into a chapel and bow your heads to a cross? Clearly the institution doesn't comprehend that we live in a multi-religious country and Jews, Muslims, Hindu shouldn't be forced to be subjected the Christian services as a mandatory part of curriculum.

Being at Valley Forge forced me to become independent and made me more strongly aware of my Jewish identity. Partly because of Valley Forge, I became very active in Jewish organizations and have given of myself both personally and financially. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
