As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote DO NOT ENROLL YOUR CHILDREN HERE!!!
This school could improve by caring about their students. That might be a good start. Or answering calls. Or not having your nurse undress students without parents knowing. Or addressing concerns with parents. Any number of things really.

There's probably a reason why this school places near the bottom for all schools in Ohio for overall test scores. You can't even meet the average of what most of Ohio is doing for testing. Even the student:teacher ratio has been higher than what other schools have.

But let a parent ask questions lol. Oh no. You don't like that. That's when stories get fabricated. Because you are school officials and 'professional'? So you go after the parents instead of admitting fault. Ratings don't lie.

You're consistently at the bottom of every school ranking that is available. Maybe we should do one for the 'Worst Elementary Schools in Ohio' so that you can be part of the top 10, rather than the bottom.

Seriously though people, DO Research on this school before you enroll your children here. If you care about their future, this is not where you want your child. All you have to do is Google this school and you'll see their rankings, their test scores vs other schools in Ohio, etc. If at the end of the school year, they can't meet what state average is, do you really want your child going to a school that clearly cannot teach your child what they need? Let alone care for them appropriately while they are there? The lack of communication from this school is mind boggling to be honest. Close Quote

Open Quote Worley is by far the best elementary school in the city of Canton. The teachers there are very dedicated and expect parent participation and accountability! I not only have experience as a parent of a student at Worley, but also as a substitute teacher there and would happily end up there every day of the week if I could! Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
