As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote My daughter attends this school. I thought Fox district was better than they actually are. My daughter had ADHD, and has had mulitple notes home regarding her behavior, including a note saying, "Could not keep hand to self." (On her calander. One simple sentance with no formal letter, no call home, no visit to the principal's office...etc) when she hit a child. The teacher she has even at one point suggested a medicaton change. When I requested her to be evaluated by the diagnostician, so that tings could be proplerly addressed, she was denied even an INITIAL evaulaution. I went as high up as the principal, who stated that because she was not failing, and her behavior was not bad enough to be sent to her office, she would not get an evaluation. It's pretty sad that a child in need has to be failing or disruptive enough to be sent to the office before they will even condsider an INITIAL evaluation, much less an actual thorough one which in any district that has sepcial school district (Fox does not), an evaluation for a child with ADHD or other confirmed diagnoses would be the minimum standard.

Meanwhile, my daughter is doing math way above her grade level at home, and also reading above her grade level. If Fox district and Rockport Heights Elementary would actually do thier jobs as they should, then my daughter would qualify for thier gifted program. I have been told by a psychologist and a family law attorney that Fox distict in general does not address things for children with special needs and that they just don't know how to handle children with ADHD. It is sad to see what a great disservice is being done to my child, and likely many others. I will be moving over the summer and will be putting my daughter in a better district. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
