Open Quote School academics don't meat expectations. Second grade teacher is vulgar and always try to influence kids in a very bad way. Principal that doesn't care much anymore except when it comes to dismissal time (holding the microphone is the principal's main job in this school). Many kids have left school this year to join other neighboring school districts. School lacks important amenities needed for a normal and a healthy development. Kids take STEM tests more than once ( in violation to state regulations) to raise their scores and overall school performance. Building is in no way in compliance with local city, county or state regulations. Wouldn't recommend to any parent. Close Quote

Open Quote Over 160 kids cramped into a small tiny building with no gym, no lunch rooms and unqualified teachers. Academics are the worst. You wont get the amenities of public schools or the benefit of having your child at a diversified school for minorities. Close Quote

Open Quote Noor International Academy is one of the few schools I have seen that actually TEACH children as opposed to just bab ysitting them for the day. My son is in First Grade and already I see the foundations of Algebra and Calculus in his homework. The school has a very "no nonsense" approach to education while keeping the learning fun. I regret that I had my older child in Public School, he would have excelled at Noor Academy Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
