Open Quote Primary Day School is a wonderful, nurturing and academic school. The school focuses on the important primary years and unlike most schools, doesn't need to spread its budget to cover the older (more expensive/demanding) grades. PDS has foreign language programs, strong music and art, STEM and the strongest reading program in the area. The math program is incredible. PDS has wonderful resource teachers. The teachers are unmatched. PDS students get into whatever schools they want for 3rd grade. They are well-prepared and the tuition is less than most of the area schools.I can't imagine sending a child any place else. PDS prepares thier students so well! Don't let your child get left behind! Parents will also make life-long friends at PDS. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
