As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote Genuinely appalled with the Mickey Mouse operation the principal is running at the school. This is the second time I pick my daughter up from school for early dismissal. Both times I wasn’t asked for identification. I was told that “we are familiar with the parents” so I asked the principal if she knows me and she said no. Exactly. You don’t know me and so you don’t me from my child’s father to just being a neighbor. When I asked her if she understood the legality of just letting the student leave without verifying any identification or file she said she did because she’s the principal. I expect more from her. If she did understand legalities as she claimed she understands that if any student was allowed to go home with someone that wasn’t their parent with full rights or a appointed guardian they could be sued. Again, I’m sure she understood this, but most of simply forgotten. Furthermore, the doors were locked, I was buzzed in without any questions. There was no security at the front desk, no pen to sign in and so I simply walked to the window with no trouble on my end and clearly no concern on the schools part. She said “we’re here to nurture” and yet they failed to include safety. This is the second time this has happen. I fully intend to write to the school district, superintendent and so on. I’m disgusted with her response and also the schools security measure. I’m sure there are cameras in the school to back up my claims. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
