Open Quote North Murray high school is an excellent school. They have a high graduation rate and also have high dual enrollments , with students getting college credits while in high school. They offer lots of clubs and sports, including archery which a lot of students that may not be athletic can join and feel like they are part if the school. North Murray has awesome leadership beginning with Dr Marie Bradley and her staff. They have awesome teachers that care about their students and know their students .When students have issues at home, they work with the students and families. Their is not enough room to tell you everything about this school. I also have to mention their great counselors , that encourage students and there helping them whenever they are doing college dual enrollments clssses or other classes , they take time to help their students.
NORTH MURRAY YOU ARE AWESOME , THANK YOU FOR HELPING MY SON BECOME THE STUDENT HE IS TODAY AND GETTING HIM READY FOR COLLEGE AND ALLOWING HIM TGE OPPORTUNITY TO TSKE COLLEGE CLASSES....THANK YOU!!!@ Close Quote

Open Quote This is a brand new school that has not been open very long at the time these statistics were posted. I love working there, and I know how hard it has been to get the school started up, so I think our scores, etc. are more reflective now than then. For example, our ELA department had a 100% pass rate on their EOC tests last year in 9th grade. There are many things about this school that makes it wonderful, but this short rating doesn't show that. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
