Open Quote My daughter has attended the Montessori since January 2010 at the age of 15 months and has flourished in its environment. Their priniciples allow for her to learn at her own pace, focus on her interests and allows her the flexibility to work individually and/or within a group. The philosophy combines all three forms of learning (auditory, visual and kinesthetic) that engages your child from the moment they enter the doors.
The teachers, assistants and administrators are professional and courteous, and focus on the individual needs of your child within the context of the broader school setting. They instill values and manners as you would at home.
My daughter is now almost 3 years old and she amazes me with her intellect; her ability to understand and communicate concepts and context astound me. In fact, at her 24-month check-up, our pediatrician indicated she did not need to assess our daughter's cognitive development at the recommended 30-month check-up as it was apparent from her language skills that she was advanced for her age.
Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this environment, and specifically, this school. In fact, our younger daughter will start in August, also at 15 months of age. Close Quote

Open Quote The staff and teachers are very knowledgeable and dedicated to the Montessori philosphy. My daugther is 3 years old and can do things that many Kindergarten students can't. For instance; she can count to 20 in English and Spanish, she knows her alphabet and their sounds, she even knows about the solar system. I could go on and on. The school is truly phenomenal and I'm glad she's there. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
