Open Quote This is my son's 2nd year and I can honestly say it has been the best move we've made. My son's ex- elementary special program basically gave up on him and labeled him lazy not preparing him on the basics such as reading and math. This wonderful group of educators have cared enough about my son and have helped him embrace education and believe in himself again! I will be forever grateful and honestly appreciate this school's strict approach to education. I find the teachers to be selfless and caring enough to come in on their own time on Saturday's before the FCAT and tutor these students for Free. This truly is an amazing school we consider home! Open Quote I am taking time to unite all voices, who have experience lack of due process; lack of good faith effort, disrespectful; arrogant and humiliating comments whether from teachers or middle school principal. We experienced all of these elements and by asking and receiving feedback from other concerned parents, we have come to realized that our case is not alone, that there are many cases just like ours, we are interested in uniting the voices. We know that there are many out there that due to lack of time and/or language barrier, fear of retaliation from school officials toward their kids, fear of losing their jobs (school teachers) or simply because they have felt that their voice alone will not be enough, have simply not made their issue public. Please write to us and let us know what you experienced. We have many rumors and we want to make sure that we can corroborate these rumors, to then address the school district officials. We want to place the power of the internet to make our voices heard. We believe the school founders have a true interest in having these issues corrected but they need to hear from all of you. Thank you Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
