As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote Where to start... Good teset scores, Yes, BUT that is because they only accept the students who will give them those test scores. If your child is classified exceptional, 2E or just even just marches to the beat of their own drum, they will make your life miserable until your find a new school. There is a huge bully problem and they victim blame instead of dealing with the bully. Teachers are under qualified and not knowledgeable of truly exceptional children. The teacher we had for kindergarten truly believes the ADHD is a behavioral problem that can be treated and dealt with by using behavior modification, including public humiliation, verbal abuse and physical pain. Her 1st grade teacher wasn't any better. By the end of 1st grade my child became afraid of being at school. We pulled our daughter after 2 years of trying to make it work. Her new school accommodated our request (something we had been begging Quest to do for 2 years) within the first week of school. Close Quote

Open Quote This is an absolutely wonderful school. I have attended since my third grade year, and I am now heading in to ninth grade. It's crazy how time has flown by, but like the saying goes "time flies when you're having fun!" which is exactly what we did. We all had so much fun in our years here. I was one of the speakers at the 2014 continuation, and I must say that by the end I was in tears. At Aurora Quest, students of all religions and races, thoughts and beliefs can come together as one student body and learn together. The staff is all very sweet, the teachers are wonderful, funny, helpful and understanding with their students. If you are debating sending your child to Quest, please do. You won't regret it. About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
