As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote Teachers are Excellent! Drop off and pick is a nightmare! Cars zoom by extremely fast, cars travel against traffic which creates even more of a nightmare. There are some parents who do not truely value their children as they drop them off to play "frogger" with both street traffic and parking lot traffic which is highly dangerous! In the main morning drop off lot there is maybe 1 staff near the entrance gate - there is no one to evaluate the horrible traffic situation and the safety of the children! I hope that it does not take a child getting injured, or worse killed to have school staff monitor the parking lot more closely. I would think that with all the parents that are in law enforcement (close to 50% at this school) that at least one of them would notify the chp traffic division or whoever handles school traffic safety. The gentleman who Is in charge of the crosswalk on the far end of school (cypress) is excellent! But he is far away from the nightmare happening on gold canyon (lot near park). I really wish they could figure out how to make things safe! In all honestly it is the parents responsibility! Pretty sad that so many do not care!!

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
