Open Quote As a parent of two alumni, I have found Marquette University High School to be a fantastic fit for my sons. They have a great sense of community, social justice, and self. The friendships they have formed during high school have continued to be significant during their college years and will probably last a lifetime. The retreats have helped them in self discovery and have definitely shaped them into men that will contribute to the world. Close Quote

Open Quote I am constantly amazed by the excellent academic and social impact that MUHS has had on my son. There is a saying among parents that you give MUHS a boy, and they return a man -- a man for God and others.

The school provides a rigorous academic path that is enveloped in a structured and caring environment. I feel that the boys truly do look out for one another and the esprit de corps of the student body is unmistakable. The students are constantly challenged to look outside of themselves and to see and serve others, a major contributor to the high level of maturity that I see in them.

My wife and I often comment that you can always pick a Marquette student out of a crowd of boys. We have made many sacrifices of money and time, but it has definitely been worth it. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
