As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote My daughter had gone to this school from 1st grade thru 6th grade and enjoyed her time there. She is in the ILC special education program this school had great staff and work so GOOD well my daughter. There are some improvements needed and I would agree the front office needs some more friendly tone in their voice and yes the counsolers should work with both the parents and student more. As for the special needs classroom, there are some teachers who could do better in working with the parents, but they could do better in preparing the students for middle school. Otherwise it was a friendly school, that works hard at making sure each student learns the best they can. I so wish there were more teachers and school like this... Close Quote

Open Quote The staff is great at north hill. There are areas to improve, mostly their office staff(rude on the phone!) and the counselors are very nice but need to listen to parents more. The principal is amazing!!!! I think they are improving. I have had several kids go through this school. They are pretty good at a lot of things and as long as they keep improving at the things they need to they will be just fine. The office staff needs some work too! Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
