Open Quote Glorified daycare!
This place is nothing but a an expensive and hyped up daycare. Too much teacher turn over. Administration does not accommodate parent needs. Too much ego within the administration. Teachers are not educated and trained well. It is a school for the "financially-gifted" who have extra money to spare for daycare needs. Agree with other post - it is a great fit for socially awkward kids. Teachers get moved around without any sense or purpose - for e.g. a home room teacher suddenly becomes a science teacher and a librarian suddenly starts to teach math! We spent 4 years at Nysmith with 2 kids before pulling them out...we had no choice back then. Close Quote

Open Quote Expensive private school. Not worth the money. Teachers are hit or miss. Odd kids will do well socially here. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
