Open Quote They used to have an excellent middle school math teacher, but now they hired an old man who has never taught in the classroom to replace her. My daughter used to excel in math, but now she is learning nothing! Considering another school next year or as soon as December. Close Quote

Open Quote I am fairly new to San Antonio, only been here for 2 years. Both years my son has attended St. Gregory and I am glad to say that this will be his last year. I just feel though his teachers have been nice neither were prepared to be real teachers. The school seems to hire too many parishioners rather than true teachers. What makes it worst so many students have parents who work for the school. These students always get preferential treatment over other students. I am moving my son to another catholic school next year, one that treats students more fairly. Though St. Gregory seems nice on the surface, it has many internal problems that should be addressed. I just feel there are much better choices if you want your child to attend a real catholic school. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
