As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote Bullying, snob parents, terrible community, pretty much the worst of humanity with a shiny veneered smile. The school is not equipped to handle kids with special needs and if your kid is actually gifted, too bad, the spots in the gifted program go to the PTA mom's kids cause it's all about popularity there. The Principal will back the teachers no matter what awful thing they do, and it's sad cause you can see on his face he actually feels bad and probably hates doing it, but it's his job. The teachers mistreat kids, don't know how to manage a classroom other than screaming or sending kids to the principal and if any of you are reading this thinking it must have been my kid that was the issue we are talking about a community that had a black man arrested for just going for a walk. Had the dude hand-cuffed on the curb explaining to a sherif why he was in that area taking a walk (his father lived there and he was bored), people took photos of this and put in online in the Teravista FB group. That is the community your child will be attending school in? A school filled with snobs and privileged bigots and don't think for a minute the school is nothing like that. It is. Don't send your kid to that school, don't get sucked in by the golf course and pretty scenery, Teravista is a cesspool of the worst of humanity. Close Quote

Open Quote My child is a student at Teravista and we love it. I was apprehensive to make the switch from Private to Public schools, but am so glad we did. I am amazed at the content in the classroom and how much my child has grown this past year. Overall the staff is friendly and helpful, the community is engaging and the teachers are dedicated. We love it here! Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
