As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote This is by far the worst school my children have ever attended. The principal does not care about the education that our children deserve to receive. She failed to turn in the proper paperwork for the kids to have a computer lab this year so the children have gone all year without computers. Also there is no art or music class. They are only allowed to go to the library once a month. As far as the uniforms go she shows complete favoritism. My daughter wore a navy dress (which is dress code) to school but was sent home because it had sparkles on it. She is in the first grade. But the Army liason's daughter very rarely even wears a uniform, she is in the second grade. They dont do anything to get the parents involved with the school or to help raise money. In fact parents arent even allowed to go have lunch with their children! As far as the safety of our children go, when you pick up the children after school they simply open a side gate and the children are free to leave with whom ever shows up. Some of the teachers are wonderful, I will give them that but then there are others who I would have guessed they picked up off the street. It is not fair to judge but there is one teacher in particular who dresses like she belongs in a strip club. Also, I registered my children early like they asked. Not only was the principal not available the entire time registration was going on but on the first day of school my son still didnt have a teacher! I will tell you though that they do treat the kindergarden and second grade teachers well. After the first month of school, they were treated to a lunch at Cattlemans steak house. If we are ever stationed here again, my children will be home schooled. They will never go to Bliss again Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
