Open Quote Our family was there for many years and witnessed significant changes in practices. They abandoned their mission statement and instead of offering a space for kids to be kids, they began regularly introducing children to inappropriate content and concepts that were not in line with preserving innocence & childhood. The "progressive" aspect of the school used to be about the educational practices but now its mostly political agendas and cancel culture. The school has made itself stand out as a far left establishment. They support radical and extreme views and push their values on students without parental consent. As my children fell behind academically, the school became increasingly more focused on social justice topics than core academics. They added a central tenant "children can be agents of change" and then proceeded to "teach" students about their chosen causes, which happened to be all based in leftist ideology. It is indoctrination, not education. A very tragic loss for the community because it used to be a truly magical place for children to learn and grow as individuals. They claim to be about individuality but the unspoken messgae is that everyone should THINK the same way. Group think has taken the place of free thinking and even though they claim to teach kids HOW to think, not WHAT to think, this is also a practice they abandoned. My children were told exactly what to think and it got to the point where we had to have regular conversations to counter balance the indoctrination they were receiving at school, which often, wasn't in line with our family values. Open Quote Rascist school that only hires whites as lead teachers. People of color are only ever assistant teachers. The white man they have as a 5 and 6 teacher is the worst of them all. Cant teach and talks down to everyone as if hes all that. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
