Open Quote For the most part I really enjoyed my experience at this school and I would definitely say that Becahi provides a high quality of education. They offer challenging and competitive honors and AP courses. Whether or not you take honors courses, you are basically guaranteed a well-rounded education as long as you are willing to put in the effort. The classes are not very large so the teachers really get to know you as an individual, and they are available if you need help as well as more than happy to help you if you fall behind. There are many clubs and sports for students to join, and students are always welcome to begin and run their own club as long as they get it approved. The school not only has an exemplary academic education, but they also have decent art and computer facilities, including a new "media room" with around thirty iPads. There are in fact three computer labs. They have Smartboards in almost every classroom and new science labs as well.
The school also has school masses each month and day of obligation, a chapel available to students at all times, and both in-school and weekend retreats. If one is not Christian or Catholic, they may find the theology classes, prayer at the beginning of most classes, school masses, and required in-school retreats overwhelming, and may feel like Catholicism is being forced on them. However, one must keep in mind that this is a Catholic school, so this shouldn't be any surprise. The teachers themselves do not ostracize students just because they aren't Christian, and in fact most are very open minded and more than happy to have class discussions about varying viewpoints on religion, values, and morals.
They are very helpful in preparing students for SATs and college. Freshman, sophomores, and juniors take a PSAT each year during a regular school day completely for free. Later, they are very helpful with the college application process and guide students as much as possible. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
