As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote Stetson Middle School is a warm, welcoming community of well trained staff and faculty that bend over backwards for their students. Never in my life have I seen a school system that meets as many times as the dedicated administrators, counselors, and teachers of SMS do to make sure they are living up to the school's mission statement. Everyone from the principal to the CSS workers for children in need of academic accommodations have a smile on their face, greet you when you first enter the building and throughout the halls, and are nothing short of super duper amazing! Like any school, they have some things that could use improving, but there is not one person in the building that does not work to make their school a safe, positive, growth promoting environment, especially the 7th grade teachers! If I could give this school more than 5 stars, I would! Your child, no matter what your family's circumstances, will get an exemplary education, learn life skills and accountability, and have the most outstanding support system at Stetson Middle School. Do yourself and, most importantly, your kids a favor and SEND THEM TO STETSON! Close Quote

Open Quote This school needs help...

This is to anyone who is planning to enrole to this school, Don't.
This school has the worst adminstration that you can think of.

A detention happy vice principle

A Self esteem lowering Counselor

And a mess of idiot teachers who expect their students to do whats on the board while they watch youtube.

Not to mention that the school is junk yard with a lousy field and unsanitary building.

Do your children a favor don't enrole. And save your self $3000 a year by not paying their school taxes. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
