As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote 2 of my 4 children have graduated from CRS. I must say, this school has truly prepared my last 2 enormously so in comparison to Wissahickon, which is a great school as well, but it does not hold a candle to CRS academically. In all honesty, my children are average/slighly above average students, but what makes this school such a GEM are the teachers, staff and curriculum. They've prepared my children academically and fostered an amazing sense of confidence in them that I will forever be grateful for. Especially being in a middle income family and my daughter having a lot to catch up on academically, I had my worries, but this school has truly shaped their future. I never imagined they would go on to grad school. Without question, CRS open doors for my kids. I hope this school continues on the road it is on and that I see my grandchildren graduate from here. Open Quote academically, the school is pretty good. the teachers are well qualified, when they are not sleeping with the students, or covering up for another teacher who is. but the students are horrible, and peer influence is too strong to ignore. there is too much sex and drugs, and they are requirements of any student who wants to "fit in". the students are allowed to curse at teachers, because the teachers are all afraid of the students. they all have too much money, and parents who are not involved, or only involved enough to threaten to sue a teacher who tries to discipline their crazy, spoiled, out of control children. the taxes are too high and they won't even turn the air conditioning on in the school for the kids. and they have to use the north football field because they have no bleachers at south. About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
