Vici

The town of Vici, Oklahoma is home to two schools - Vici Elementary School and Vici High School. While Vici Elementary has consistently been a top-performing school in the state, Vici High School has struggled, ranking in the bottom quarter of Oklahoma high schools in recent years.

Vici Elementary has maintained a 4 or 5-star rating from SchoolDigger over the past decade, reaching as high as 51st out of 846 elementary schools in the state. In contrast, Vici High School has only a 1-star rating, with low proficiency rates on state assessments - just 28.6% of 11th graders are proficient in English Language Arts, and 0% are proficient in Mathematics.

The data also reveals differences in student demographics and spending between the two schools. Vici Elementary has a more diverse student body and a higher percentage of students from low-income families, yet it outperforms Vici High School academically. Additionally, Vici High School spends significantly more per student, but this higher spending does not appear to be translating into better academic outcomes.
