Open Quote Not what I expected. Academics are average and materials are outdated Horrible athletics program. There are some good, caring teachers there but they are the minority. Not worth the money. Student know that if they are star athletes they can get away with just about anything. School spirit is lacking although it appears they are trying to address this is with their new priory system, but with a failing athletic program it is difficult. Close Quote

Open Quote Benedictine is a wonderful school! I am so proud of the academics that are being offered there! This year, a senior scored a perfect 36 on his ACT. Last year, a senior was awarded a full scholarship to the University of Notre Dame. Also, the school has instituted a Tablet/PC program. Every student has one and carries it with them throughout the day. You could say they are all young business men :)

The Benedictine monks run the school and do a fabulous job. Right now, they are adding a football field/complex to the school. Everything seems to be moving in the right direction. Parents are very involved, teachers are extremely dedicated, and everyone is learning the Benedictine way.

The freshman class is also the largest class they have had in years. I am excited about the Home of Champions! Go Bengals! Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
