As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote We moved to Las Vegas unsure about how to handle the public schools here. After hearing good things about Bozarth we decided to buy our house with this school in mind. We are military transplants and my daughter typically changes schools frequently, so we were anxious to find a school that we all loved and that she could attend for our entire time here. She LOVES Bozarth, and we couldn't be happier. Our daughter enjoys going to school and continues to be challenged daily. The school has a progressive attitude and feel (they have SMART boards in each class and plenty of computer access, as well as a dedicated GATE program!) and they really encourage students to do their best - we love the AR reading program! I would be remiss in not mentioning my daughters 2nd grade teacher, Ms. Berg - she is patient and kind, and always has a positive attitude. My daughter adores her! Our daughter has flourished at Bozarth and we HIGHLY RECOMMEND this school! Close Quote

Open Quote We moved to Vegas from overseas and chose our home dependent upon school reputation. At the time the school was not rated yet, but we heard great things about it. Most importantly, our interaction with the staff and administration from the time we stepped through the door was nothing short of heartwarming. Our girls are nearing the end of their first year back in an American school and they have truly felt secure and at home. Mr. Saunders and Mrs. Meltzer set a fantastic tone for success and community. We love Bozarth! Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
