Open Quote Upon researching numerous schools through New Jersey we chose Far Hills Country Day School for its balance between academics and character development. We feel the vision and values of Far Hills are in line with what we believe to be a truly well rounded education.
We love seeing our children come home happy and excited. We love that our children's academic and emotional needs are individually met. Every teacher we have met has shown an exceptional sense of love for FH. They all take a lot of pride in how they contribute to making FH a great school.
There is a feeling of belonging and unity at each of the many events. There is no concern of what grade your child is in, we are all in this together, striving to better our children.
There is a joint effort with FHCDS and their families to continually improve upon the school. Staff, students, and families have a genuine love for the school. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
