As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote I know that people will look at this review and say "He's just sour of middle school". But, I kid you not, I have been to 3 different middle schools in my lifetime AND have been to each of them for at least 1 year, so I'm writing the truth and what I think. Out of all the middle schools I've been to, this is by far the WORST of them all. And to add, the other two were OPS schools. I can't believe how this school is an Elkhorn school. Yes, it looks nice, but the staff are TERRIBLE. Unless it's one of the reading teachers or the librarian or the rotation teachers or the counselor, they are all rude or act weird to any kids who are not white. This school really made me actually consider suicide more than OPS. They made learning hard, they take absolutely NO blame for mistakes, and all of the kids are plain brainrot and always doing something bad. And get this- the teachers tolerate this stuff because they're white. When I go to do assignments from one class in a different one, they treat it like it's wrong, and it's just hard to stay caught up because you can't do anything outside of study hall. Even one of the study hall teachers didn't let me do my work, and forced me to do work from her class EVEN THOUGH I didn't have work to do at the time. What's the point of study hall if I can't WORK on my WORK?! I'm so glad I moved from that class. Also the teachers just act weird. The principals are always looking at me in the hallways awkwardly and even when I'm talking to someone or minding my own business, they are always trying to "say hi" and it makes me feel uncomfortable. The staff act like they hate their jobs or something and it just makes the experience worse. EVERY SINGLE DAY, this school always reminded me that I'm different, something that none of the other schools did. Even the students, EVERY DAY, make racist jokes, say slurs, even randomly say the n-word, hard R, for NO REASON. Then they just laugh about it like it's a joke, and the teachers act like it's fine and tolerate it. AND THE EVENTS! Every time we go to an event, we're forced to sit down and be quiet, we're forced to cheer, and we're forced to act like it's fun. What's the point of the event if it's not fun? I can't even comment on something without a teacher telling me to be quiet. The whole experience is just traumatizing and not something I would recommend. The only reason I stayed at this school until now is because of my friends. Please don't come here. Save your money and your child, please. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
