Open Quote Opinion based on multiple years of experience: All decisions (grading and administrative) are based upon prioritized values of favoritism and self-survival/preservation as opposed to merit and hard work of the student. Teachers will routinely withhold deciding subjective grading to ‘fix’ grades to desired outcomes after objective grades have been established to benefit the favored and/or related to staff students even suppressing hard working students who have been qualified as academically and intellectually gifted. They will withhold graded student work for long periods after completion so you may not review until after report cards are posted. The family style clan administration will make decisions based on judgment of whether you intend on attending the school long term to maintain enrollment, not based on equity of right/wrong. Unless you are a teacher’s child and/or are favored, you will encounter struggles of equity at this school and probably should not attend. However, such struggles will in the longer term benefit your son/daughter if they are strong in character, leading to greater self-independence as those almost always ultimately succeed. The others, like the favored, ware at risk in the longer term of being self-crippled for life, although unintendedly due to short sightedness. It is unfortunate, but the real reality. This opinion is entirely distinct from the actual church and is only related to the school. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
