Open Quote Poor administration and constant turn over. Villa did not follow through with it's own contract when it came to my daughter's type 1 diabetes. I asked for a diabetes safety meeting and was denied. I was told a 504 plan would be written up for the diabetes and teachers would be notified. This was never followed through. The teacher's had no idea my daughter was a diabetic and that a life saving glucagon pen was in the nurses office. I sent numerous emails trying to get this taken care of and was not given correct information. We removed our 2 daughters from the school. My younger daughter was bullied and nothing was done about it. We tried to get the school records transferred and it was not done after 2 1/2 months and 2 requests. I went to the school in August and they would not give me the records. I waited 2 hours before they finally gave in. We paid them the money even though your daughter did not attend. They did replace her with other student, but told us "they were not a diploma mill and did not accept students junior and senior year. Our son passed away 12/15/14. Even though we hired a lawyer to represent our claims we paid Villa in full and on time. We could not go any further in our pursuit of the facts. We had to plan a funeral around Christmas and have been in severe grief. During this time Villa hired a collection law firm to collect over $21,000. plus interest and lawyer fees. We did not owe them any money. It just caused more pain and grief to deal with this during the loss of our son. After 11 years of 2 girls attending - paid tuition in full every August and annual giving we were not even sent a sympathy card. We were not treated with respect or appreciated. It was only about the money. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
