As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote My son is in 7th grade at Justice Page Middle School and he says the teachers don't know what they're doing 50 of the time. The students in the halls during passing time are absolutely horrible. They push him around and the teachers don't do anything. In my opinion, keep your kids away from this school. Close Quote

Open Quote New principal is fantastic, she was given the task of cleaning up the mess left by the previous principals. The first one ditched the school just before the start of the school year in 2014. Then the district put in someone who was obviously not capable, or interested, in the job. Finally the current principal was hired and in one year made a huge positive impact. She resolved some major issues immediately, replaced teachers who were not effective, set up clear lines of communication and restored order amongst students, but all was done with respect to students and families. The teachers do a great job of challenging kids of all levels of learning. My child is in his third year, 8th grade, and loves it! Close Quote

Open Quote Extremely poor school, no way to get homework assignments, progress, class disruptions, little follow up, starting going downhill couple years ago with high principals turnover and new principal needs to go too. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
