I attended St. Matts from third to eighth grade. My days there were full, exciting, and filled with adventures (and field trips!) Not everyone would like it, since backstabbing sorrows accompanied our joys. Every year, we had field day that ended with the notorious big wheel race; skateland marked the end of school; yet we cried when graduation came- well, some of us.

Emotions varied from day to day and our teachers kept us from sinking. They-Schwaegerle, Hicks, Moody, Hoeft, and others- kep us stable and silent in the classrooms and twice as active on the court. If I have to say anything about Pastor Lambart: he makes me think of Martin Luther.

I am now a senior in high school readying for teacher education, and I still rely on the information learned in those crazy classrooms. Close Quote
