Open Quote The school has been going downhill for the past few years. Faculty members bully children they do not like. Faculty members’ children are allowed to bully other children and are not punished. Children are punished and ostracized for “telling” on faculty members’ children. The quality of education is going downhill and is not even on par with the county schools. At the county schools, you can get Algebra 2 and other advanced math classes, but at SMB, you cannot. The principal does not seem to care and does not strive to make the school a premier school. This will be out last year there before taking my child to public school so they can be competitive as they prepare to transition to high school. SMB only prepares them for catholic high school, not competitive county schools. It is a shame that the staff does not try to fix this perception when we have spoken to them. After grade school, I recommend using your county school system as it will provide a better education in the long run. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
