Open Quote I have had two daughters and a son at the school for 9 years. Two of them started in preschool. My experience is that the teachers take the time to know the children and their learning needs. The class size is very small, with a passionate, skilled team of teachers and administrators who ensure that every student is seen heard and meets their varying learning styles. NBS challenges the children to be their true selves, confident and young responsible citizens. The school also ensures that they live by their Core Values: Integrity, Collaboration, Innovation, Empathy, and Resilience. The students exhibit these core values through their classwork, in the arts, through drama and music as well as through different community service programs. Diversity Equity and Inclusion is also woven in the curriculum, grievance resolution, and also evident in how the school awards their financial aid. Through the Covid19 epidemic, the school maintained high health and safety standards and developed a hyFlex model. There is so much to say about this school and hope you consider sending your kids or referring it out to friends and family. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
