Open Quote This school is completely overrated. My honor student absolutely hated it and was accepted and placed elsewhere after one miserable year. The administration is arrogant and unresponsive, the academic program isn't nearly as rigorous as they claim and they cater shamelessly to the athletes to the point where they turn a blind eye to highly questionable behavior. The teachers make themselves as unavailable as possible, yet they have the nerve to call themselves a prep school. No, this not a prep school. Not even close. There are other private catholic high schools in the area that are vastly superior. Do not be fooled by the Central Catholic hype. Close Quote

Open Quote The education is extremely well IF you're in the honors classes(level 1). If you're in the level 2 or 3, it is not worth the money and you can get the same education at a public school. Also, it is extremely sports based. If you do not do a popular sport (football, hockey, cheerleading...) you will not be favored. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
