Open Quote Once you step thru the doors and meet Mrs. Blackford (Alice) you know you have found the right place!
3 of my 4 children attended the school Ms. Casey left - I have had students there for over 10 years and it’s been an incredibly fulfilling experience for them. you will be hard pressed to offer comparable, exceptional nurturing and the education that my children have received from a very experienced teacher elsewhere.

The person with 1 star is a disgruntled employees spouse. Close Quote

Open Quote Superior school! After extensive research, I know we're lucky to have found this school. Mrs. Blackford is one of a kind, with unparalleled caring and devotion to her students. My first child graduated at five years, reading and comprehending at an extremely high level, mastering multiplication, and skipped a grade. Through that experience, I learned to keep my second child on with Mrs. Blackford through her kindergarten year. With both of my children moving on to upper grades next year, I will still volunteer at Phoenix. I can't say too much about this family-focused, authentic Montessori school. Close Quote

Open Quote It's an AMAZING school. As a former teacher and school administrator, I did a lot of research as to where to send my girls to pre-school. There were none that compared to Phoenix Montessori. The teachers are fantastic and both of my girls have thrived there. My oldest will enter first grade next year already reading chapter books and knowing how to do addition and subtraction. She is way ahead of the game academically and socially. I attribute this to the experience she's had at Phoenix Montessori and will never be able to thank them enough. Close Quote

Open Quote Our family had a horrible experience with a drastic change in the curriculum, teaching style, and the school administration after our child's original teacher departed the school. We had no choice but to pull our child and look for another Montessori school. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
