Open Quote This school taught my child that either God is dead or there is no God. No one practiced what they preached. Close Quote

Open Quote Corrupt, small minded group. Bullying starts at the top (SCS director, principal, their families) who have been running the school for decades. These people give power to a select group of students and their parents for the right donation. For example, honors teachers are forced to teach students whose grades should keep them from honors classes. Faculty/Staff, church leaders, parents/students who believe in the true meaning of Christian behavior stay quiet. Anyone who questions the administration is selected for expulsion, fired or does not have their contract renewed. Leaders use student rumors and internet postings to slander the reputations of the innocent without proof and without recourse.

This isn't a church as much as it is a cult. It is not a place for people who truly believe in Christ. We have moved on and are now flourishing in the public schools with the kind of support from our community that you would think naturally comes from a Christian school. Close Quote

Open Quote Horrifying experience with the school. For the few weeks my daughter went to this school, the teacher who claimed to have 40 years of experience seemed at a loss of how to assimilate her into the class. They expect kids to fall into compliance and if at all your child falls out of that category, they are at their wits end as to how to handle such a child. My daughter is strong willed and not easily submissive. So the "expert" at the school and the class teacher were ready to categorize her as autistic while all the time saying that "we are no experts". I was more than happy and extremely relieved to withdraw her from the school.
I enrolled her to another preschool where she has blossomed with two wonderful teacher who are nurturing and encouraging. At this school they allow her freedom to read at playtime as she can read 2nd grade books and loves to spend playtime reading, is socially adjusting well and happy at this school.
Schaumburg Christian School was a terrible experience and I would encourage any parent with a strong willed child, to reconsider sending their kids there. you don't want your kids to be scared of going to school, or hate going to school. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
