Open Quote With so many good schools to choose from in this community, I thought it would be difficult to choose the right one for our children. After touring the school, meeting the teachers, and talking with other school families, there was no doubt in my mind that St. Joseph School was the right decision. It has proven to provide a challenging academic curriculum in a nurturing, welcoming environment. Faith formation is evident at every level, including preschool, which was important to us. The administration and teachers clearly love what they do and are accessible and responsive. My children have enjoyed the extracurricular activities available. The friendships my children, husband and I have made are invaluable. Close Quote

Open Quote St Joe's is the place if you want community involvement, a caring environment and a challenging curriculum. This school has shaped my children into caring individuals that don't think twice about giving back to the community. And best of all what they learned academically has made it easy for them to excel in High School. My eldest was accepted into every college that he applied for. Thank you St Joe! Close Quote

Open Quote Every day we are steadfast and secure in our selection of St. Joseph's for our child's education. Not only are the teachers incredible but the classes are much smaller than the rest of the area schools and the curriculum is outpacing other programs. Additionally, the families affiliated with St. Joe's are warm, caring, amazing people that we love having our child grow up around. We would recommend St. Joe's to anyone looking for a superior, well rounded, faith-based education for their children. Close Quote

Open Quote My husband and I are always saying we are so glad we made the right choice sending our boys to St. Joseph's School. Academics, genuine friendships and being a kind and caring citizen is very important to us. What SJS offered that other schools did not is that well rounded approach. The teachers are great, the sports are competitive but inclusive and as working parents the holiday care and extended care have been invaluable. What we did not expect but are thrilled about is the friendships we've made. Families look out for each other and their children - a true community feel! Close Quote

Open Quote St. Joe's offers an excellent learning environment (thanks to great leadership and teachers) along with a warm, community feel (highlighted by the Catholic values that are an integral part of the St. Joe's experience). This is truly a special place and our first-grader loves being a part of it! Close Quote

Open Quote Fantastic school! Great teachers and staff... involved parents. Challenging academics in small classes with a strong moral, Catholic theme. Huge sports program that's NO-CUT. My kids love it and we've made life-long friends from within its great community of families. Our oldest is now in high school and was EXTREMELY well-prepared for it. He's getting straight A's in honors classes right from the start. I've spoken to teachers at several high schools in the area and they all speak very highly of St. Joseph graduates. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
