Open Quote As the parent of a Bethany graduate, I am so thankful for this school! We moved to Naperville when our son was beginning 5th grade. Coming from California, he did not know anyone. The faculty was very welcoming as was the student body. We found the faculty and staff to be supportive and nurturing. It very much felt like a family. He made good friends and really liked his teachers and the principal. Besides an atmosphere of academic excellence, Bethany offered many extra curricular opportunities for him to become involved. He was very well prepared and made an easy transition into the public high school. We would definitely recommend this school. Close Quote

Open Quote All four of my children attended Bethany. Each had their own unique gifts and talents which the school was able to foster and develop. I am so very thankful to the faculty, staff and administration for all they did thru the 12 years my children attended Bethany. I couldn't ask for a better place to learn about Jesus and what He has done for us! Close Quote

Open Quote We had a terrible experience with bullying by a number of girls. after reading below - I would agree - They do teach the bible. Unfortunatley they do not Live it. There is a christian song that says "only God knows the difference between sinners and saints." We have never seen this reflected more than at Bethany Lutheran and we at least feel comfort in the fact that the leaders there will one day have to account to God for acting the way they did and intentionally hurting and scarring these poor children of the Lord. We tell everyone to look at other schools in the area. Close Quote

Open Quote I was bullied by a few of the other kids in the school. I went to the principal and the teachers many times, but they never helped me. I had to leave school because I couldnt stand it anymore. Close Quote

Open Quote Bethany Lutheran School provides a Christ centered, challenging curriculum in a nurturing environment. The teachers show the utmost dedication and commitment to their students and their families. All of our children love it so much at Bethany that we wish it had a high school! Close Quote

Open Quote Not sure what happened to the "one star" experience, and I'm sad to hear it. We're all sinners, but sometimes we don't know we've sinned against another unless, in love, we bring it to each other. Forgiveness is what it's all about!

In any case, our family has been just amazed by the commitment and care that Bethany provides, both to our children and to us as our family. It's hard enough in these hard days to find a Church that still clings to the fundamental truths of the Bible, but to find one that also teaches those truths in the day school classroom, while still providing the best kind of high school "college" preparation? What more could a parent want?

But it is true. If the Word of the Bible is something you don't want taught, you probably should look for another school. :D As for me and my house.... Close Quote

Open Quote We are not happy at all with our children's education at Bethany Lutheran. Neither the academic side nor the Christian side. We regret ever sending our children here as we feel they did not learn what they should have and learned things they shouldn't have. We would suggest other education options for parents who ask us. About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
