As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote This is a warning to anyone thinking of moving to this town with children. BEWARE! If you have not lived here your whole life, or are not rich, it will not be a good experience. I had to withdraw my son from school as he was being bullied. Even after going to the principal and teachers, nothing was done. My son is a great student, and the other kids didn't like that, so they decided to go after him. He was new to the area and is very conscientious and wants to do well. Of course, since he didn't have money and hadn't lived here his whole life, that was the kiss of death. There were 8-10 kids bullying him. PLEASE, heed this warning. Go anywhere else! Close Quote

Open Quote This is a horrible school to send your child to!!!! We just moved to the area in the summer of 2012 and enrolled our child in 8th grade. He played on the football team, and loved his classes. Then he made the honor roll with highest honors and then made the basketball team. After that it went down hill. He wanted to quit the basketball team. His behavior seemed to change. He became very quite. I met with the principal and his teachers, some of them said he has been more quite and they will watch him. Then he started not eating and getting headaches. We found out that because of his size, he is being bullied and teased. The same boys who he played football with now are calling him a fata##, and a fat MF. They are telling him he doesn't belong. These kids started getting more and more kids to ignore him and not letting him sit with them at lunch. They called him a teacher's pet just because he received great grades. Then they started to threaten him. We decided to pull him out of school and my wife is home schooling him for now.

I went to the principal and he asked to help. I told him I asked for help 3 weeks ago and got nothing. I told one of his teachers he was leaving and she then said he started becoming even more quite and laid his head on his desk alot. Yet, did anyone ask him what was wrong or call his parents? NO!!!!! The teachers do not care. They only care if the child comes forward.

Sure, this is a wonderful school, if you have lived here all your life! THEY HATE OUTSIDERS!!!!!!!! It is too bad, because my son was doing great in school and loved the classes. Just because he was nice and considerate to girls, who by the way liked him for this, and received great grades, the hillbilly boys were jealous and decided to go after him and recruit the rest of the school to help. Even his "so called friends" would not help him because of the loyalty of being in this town forever.

So if you are thinking about moving to the area, unless you know people who have lived here forever, or you have ALOT of money to throw at these people, RUN AWAY!!! Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
