Open Quote Excellent school. Bilingual Spanish immersion program. Amazing teachers. Social and emotional curriculum in addition to a strong academic curriculum. Lots of parental volunteering. The teachers go above and beyond to meet the individual needs of the whole child. Excellent option for gifted children in elementary and middle school. Excellent foundation for elementary. Alegria does not have the flag ceremonies or vast sports facilities but they do do PE and have soccer so there is plenty of sport. Also, they have cooperative coaching, French and music lessons. They also have recess! Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
