Old Plank Christian Academy

Horrible school! Read reviews from parents and even former teachers! All the horror stories are true! Robbed my children of the education I was paying for. Untruthful, shady, passive aggressive staff. Have heard many complaints of blatant racism by teachers and staff. Academic standards ears a joke!

So far I haven't seen much to be impressed about.The staff keep getting fired,the teacher's can't seem to discapline the students,the students haven't been very accepting,the classes are of the same size(in my childs class)of a public school, no one on one time for any one who really NEEDS it.They send home slips when your child doesn't wear the right color belt but can't seem to inform you when your child gets into"actual"trouble,you have to at some point figure that one out yourself.Unfortunately Jacksonville doesn't have much to offer as far as our school systems go.We do what we must.Still waiting to be impressed though.

Old Plank Christian Academy has been simply a life saver with my children. The public schools have become so poorly equip that our only choices were to either home school them or find a private school that could do their job and teach children how they should be taught. Our children came from Whitehouse Elementary, which did a total injustice to my children at all levels. Since being at Old Plank Christian I have seen my children soar beyond expectation! The teachers truly care! The staff is the best- by far! The Principals actually enjoy their jobs and do it well and the atmosphere is comfortable and not intimidating, making education fun and easy to be learned. I can't say enough about how thrilled I am that we found Old Plank! Go Defenders!
