Open Quote This school is a hidden gem in downtown Orlando. It is a small Chrisitan school with a long and wonderful history. The staff is warm and caring. The day school staff knows each and every child by name! They treat you like family, and that is one reason I was drawn to it. The students excel academically and are well prepared for high school, many of whom start in Spanish II and Geometry by the time they start 9th grade. Their tuition rates are very competitive. Even though there are several other private schools downtown, Trinity real makes my children and I feel that we have come home. Close Quote

Open Quote To us, Trinity is so much more than an outstanding school .
In terms of how our four children have grown in Christ, grown in character, and grown academically, our daughter who graduated last year provides insight as to the lasting effects this awesome school instills in the youth it educates.
When she came to them in the sixth grade, she was below average in many areas, failing several subjects, and rejecting accountability standards.
By the time she graduated, her grades and maturity greatly improved.
Now, she maintains the academic integrity she learned under Trinity's auspices.
Our middle school-aged children both have blossomed, each in his/her own way. I realized this when they were on the school trip to Washington DC.
They were so excited about all the historic and government sights, appreciating the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!
Ou youngest is our special-needs child, but with issues not clearly visible, as a physical disability. She struggles with behavior and attention.
Under the teachers’ and principle's firm but gentle and loving guidance, she too experiences terrific success and happiness there.
ANY child who's a Trinity child is a child blessed, indeed! Close Quote

Open Quote I am the parent of two students here--one in fifth grade, and one in kindergarten. My fifth grader has attended since kindergarten, and my plans are for BOTH of them to continue through 8th grade. I completely disagree with the previous post. My kindergartner is flourishing, even more than my older child did at the same age (he had the teacher referred to in the first post below.) The Lutheran Church Missouri-Synod has an excellent and well-deserved reputation for elementary education, and TLS is no exception (I rated it 4 stars only because there is always room for improvement and no school is perfect). Children are taught in small classes and almost always are ahead of their public school counterparts. Academic standards are very high, as are behavioral standards. Technology is also up-to-date, as middle school students will all be using laptops and tablets beginning next year, with lower grades to follow in subsequent years. Above all, the love of our Savior and His gift of salvation through grace is not only taught every day, but demonstrated by both students and staff. This is a small, family-oriented, Christ-centered school that welcomes and encourages parental participation on every level. Close Quote

Open Quote Terrible school that continues to go down the drain. It use to be great, but is currently struggling to survive. They have the biggest issues in their K-3rd program. My experience is that the kindergarten and 2nd&3rd grade teachers need to be replaced. They seem robotic and completely out of touch with what it means to be a teacher in the early years of a child's life. This was such a disappointing thing to find out after having my little girl grow up in daycare center that is there. The school side of this program was night and day in comparison. Basically, I recommend the daycare center, but do not recommend their school. I pulled my child from the school after 2nd grade was finished. Close Quote

Open Quote The Kindergarten teacher has been at the school long enoough to teach the parents of the children that are coming through. She teaches with love and patience and is dedicated the the spiritual life of each child. The School provides a qaulity afforable Christian education. The Lutheran way is to protect and nurture the child and unlike my strict Catholic school experiences, Trinity teaches about the love that Jesus has for us.
Academic's are styrong. I am looking forward to my daughter entering Third Grade and being capable of reading Harry Potter, like many of this year's Third Grade students. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
