Open Quote The Geneva School is truly a unique learning environment! The classical education model is far superior to anything I've personally experienced and the people God has called to teach at this school have all exceeded my expectations. My children's love of learning just seems to be strengthened year after year. Fostering community within the school has always been a priority and it shows in the friendships between the kids as well as the parents. You don't just attend The Geneva School, you belong at The Geneva School. Close Quote

Open Quote We have been at The Geneva School for 3 years and absolutely love it. We have a 3rd grader and a 6th grader at Geneva. Both of our girls love the school and their teachers and have grown tremendously over the last 3 years, both socially and educationally. I love to see the amazing relationship between the teachers and their students. It's one of trust and respect. The student know that they are loved and in a safe-space, but they also know that their teacher demand respect and honestly. I truly believe Geneva is the best school in the Orlando area. We could not ask for more. Close Quote

Open Quote Geneva has been one of our best parenting decision to date. I have two boys who are very different both academically and socially, and Geneva has proven time and time again to be a good fit for both. I have never once been worried or concerned when I drop them off at school because I know they are safe - physically and emotionally. It's nice to know that we have found a school that reinforces the same moral ideals as we strive for at home. Close Quote

Open Quote The Geneva School is a school that fosters a love for learning at a young age. The teachers are fully invested in their students. Yes, Geneva is a Classical Christian school which is very difficult to find. A classical education teaches students critical thinking skills, the ability to think on their own, and the art of persuasive communication. Teaching to a test is unheard of at TGS. And although the academics are stellar, TGS sports are top-notch. My daughter's TGS varsity volleyball 2A team finished their 2016 season as State Finalist! Being a part of the TGS community is a dream come true! Close Quote

Open Quote I have been a Geneva Parent for 14 years and counting. Throughout those 14 years I have been continually amazed by the teachers, faculty, staff, students and TGS community. They all pour into our children, developing not only their minds, but their hearts. Teaching them not what to think, but how to think. Geneva's mission statement is to provide an extraordinary education, that pursues goodness and truth in all spheres of life. Geneva not only meets but exceeds it's mission statement. Our family has been so blessed by the TGS community. If you are thinking of checking out a Classical Christian School, please take a tour of The Geneva School. It is an amazing place. Close Quote

Open Quote This is a unique school with an amazing curriculum and staff! Teachers truly love their jobs rather than tolerate them. They systematically develop and nurture the whole child (mind, body and spirit) and teach in a alogical, integrated way. They immerse children in learning and challenge them to think and live on a higher level. After trying every schooling method available (homeschool, charter, public, christian) over 15 years and 4 children.......our family is sold on The Geneva School. If you are truly passionate about education. If you think our public schools are headed in the wrong direction....take a tour of this hidden gem! Its the best investment you can make in your child's future. Close Quote

Open Quote We started out with our child in an A rated public school. We had a terrible experience. She would cry every day because she did not want to go to school. Her teacher yelled at them and they rarely received recess because the class was so bad. They had to sit inside with their heads down for playtime. They were doing standardized testing 6 weeks in. They were not doing phonics, only 100 plus sight words to memorize. She hated school and learning. We are so thankful that we found The Geneva School. I fell in love the day I took a tour of the facility. We pulled our daughter out after 3 months in public school and enrolled her at The Geneva School. We immediately saw a change and improvement in her. After her very first day, she said it was her favorite place and she never wanted to go back to her old school. And they were even able to play outside, twice in one day! The teachers and staff are beyond amazing! They care so much about each child. My daughter is now reading and learning Spanish! She cries when she doesn't go to school. The Geneva School has dramatically changed our lives for the better. It is worth every penny. We would sell our house and downsize in order to pay for this education. Close Quote

Open Quote When we started at the Geneva School, we were going through a difficult family transition. Although I knew that the school had a strong academic program, my primary concern was leaving my young children in the hands of loving, nurturing teachers. We are now in our seventh year at the school. It is a beautiful and unique experience that I believe is hard to find at any other school in the area. My children have been taught to love learning, love their neighbor, and love God. They come alive in the back seat telling me about what they are learning. The teachers pour into their students in a way that will leave you forever grateful. I felt compelled to leave a review for our wonderful school! In my eyes, a Geneva School education is the best gift I can give my children. Close Quote

Open Quote Our children have attended The Geneva School for six years so far. We highly recommend it! I never thought I could love a school - but we love Geneva. Everytime we set foot on campus, we feel as if we are surrounded by family. The Faculty, Staff, and families who attend the school are the kindest, most genuine, caring and Godly people I've ever had the priviledge to be around regularly. Our children love to go to school. In fact, recently I had the opportunity to pick them up a bit early, but they didn't want to leave! My family and I give The Geneva School our highest recommendation. Close Quote

Open Quote We have had our boys at The Geneva School from kindergarten through fifth grade and cannot express how highly we think of the school. The academics have not only been outstanding but have also been an especially good fit for our boys because of the "hands-on" or experiential approach to learning. There have been seemingly constant opportunities for our boys to experience everything from re-creating the conditions of coming to America on the Mayflower to the process of becoming a knight. Moreover, the teachers, aides, and administrators put significant effort into making each of these experiences as realistic and meaningful as possible in every detail, while teaching the children an incredible amount. Additionally, the exposure to the arts, whether it be learning about famous artists and masterpieces in kindergarten, to learning techniques to re-create masterpieces, to acting in full-scale productions of everything from Winnie the Pooh to Beowulf, has been enriching and has given our boys a very broad base of knowledge. When combined with the numerous public speaking opportunities incorporated into the curriculum and being taught at a very high academic level, we feel our children's education so far has been outstanding. Finally, the teachers and administration are very nurturing and focus on the whole child, whether that be in emphasizing character or in the manner in which they handle conflict resolution. We feel that the experience we have given our children at The Geneva School so far has given them an incredible foundation and instilled a love of learning. Close Quote

Open Quote We've been here since my son was in K4. The teachers really care, the content is exceptional, & everything is integrated in a way that helps the kids love learning! It's pretty wonderful to know how much your child loves going to school -- and that it's a place that will help guide him along the path that God has for him. We absolutely love the Geneva School! Open Quote I had 4 students at The Geneva School over the first 15 years – all of them (now ages 27-20 years old) attribute their love for learning to Geneva nurturing this love in their hearts and minds. In fact, after my last student graduated, I started teaching at Geneva! And I can say without a doubt, though my kids had an excellent education, the school is so much better now five years later! A maturing, synthetic curricula prepares students not merely to go to almost any college they choose, more importantly, Geneva prepares young people for whatever in the world it might be that God has for them to do with their lives. Open Quote My daughters have been attending The Geneva School for 6 years, and we love it. The school's emphasis on excellence in all aspects of a student's life allows them to pull the best from both of my children. Not only does Geneva focus on the fundamentals of learning like math and grammar, but they also emphasis the arts like drawing and music so that each child can experience the beautiful things that God has made. We live in a great public school district. Our decision to go to Geneva was really about our desire to have our children learn not only the educational basics, but to gain a fundamental understanding of historical happenings within the context of Biblical teaching. We have not been disappointed. The teachers offer a caring and supportive environment and the Geneva administration is always supportive and ready to listen to any parent or student issue that arises. Geneva always strives to do their utmost to provide an environment where my child can flourish and grow. Close Quote

Open Quote My wife and I have found The Geneva School to be a special place for our three children to learn and grow. We haven't experienced a school where the curriculum stimulates our kids minds and at the same time molds their character. I cannot recommend strongly enough The Geneva School to any parent looking for a school to educate their children and compete in the 21st century. Close Quote

Open Quote My children have been here for 3 years now and I must say that I couldn't be happier. I wasn't planning to do private school, but when my oldest was ready for Kindergarten, i just couldn't imagine putting him on a school bus, based on horror stories I've heard from other parents in the area. Is it expensive? Yes, but scholarships are very available for those who need them (my kids go for half price), so just ask. What makes the school so great? Two things, great curriculum, great teachers. If you haven't heard of classical education, it's basically going back to how people were educated in the medieval time period. So instead of "school's need more computers" they say "education has lost it's way, lets go back to when it was great." And they do. Close Quote

Open Quote We are soooo very blessed to have our children in The Geneva School. We are new to Florida and the teachers, staff and most importantly the students accepted my 2nd grader and Kingergartener with open arms. Everyone there is extremely loving and kind. It is truly like a huge family. The parents get together often and there are always so manythings going on! They teach classical education and its AMAZING! My children are so happy to go to school and are loving learning which is the exact opposite when we moved here last year with our experience in the public schools. Public schools in Seminole were way too focused on pushing the FCAT. I am pretty confident they teach to the test. At Geneva they are focused on teaching the word of God and a love for learning. Such a blessing and priviledge. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
