Open Quote This Primrose is great! I can't comprehend why others have given it low marks. I currently have two kids here. The staff has been very accommodating (Wendy is awesome), the kids have both learned a lot, and most importantly, my kids enjoy going to this school. I'm so glad that they have a great place to go, I don't have to worry about them during the day, and they come home after having a fun, exciting, educational day. I'd give it more stars if I could! Open Quote My kids attended this Primrose School from the time they were infants until we moved out of state and the care was wonderful. The teachers were wonderful, caring people, and my kids absolutely loved it there. The other reviews refer to a "child abuse" citing. My children were students at the school when the incident that is cited occured, and based upon my knowledge of the event, child abuse is a VERY loose term for what happened. It's the label the law applied to a very unfortunate event. To be clear, no staff member laid his or her hands on a child, no child was harmed, and the school handled the situation very well. I would not hesitate to re-enroll my children at the Primrose School of Centennial. Close Quote

Find Primrose and click on 'view history' to see all the details.

Here is what they admitted to:

26-6-108(l) C.R.S. Admit to an act of child abuse or if substantial evidence is found that the licensee, person employed by the licensee, or person who resides with the licensee in the licensed facility has committed an act of child abuse. For the purposes of this paragraph (1), “child abuse” has the same meaning as that ascribed to the term ‘abuse” or “child abuse” or neglect” in section 19-1-103(1), C.R.S.;

If this isn't enough to make your skin crawl, what is? Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
