As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote If you have a child with special academic or behavioral needs, watch your child closely to make sure his or her needs are being met. Be prepared to advocate, advocate, advocate for your child.

If you transfer to Three Creeks and the IEP or 504 plan that your child brings from another school is dropped prematurely, your child can be negatively impacted a child should never go from having extra supports to having nothing. In the best interests of you and your child, hire a special education lawyer or a special ed advocate immediately (money well-spent).

If you have an adopted child, DO NOT discuss their background with the school. There are staff and admin with discriminatory beliefs about adoptive parents, who put their own twist on information shared in confidence with the sole intent of helping them better understanding a child and his or her emotional/social/relational/academic struggles. After a full year of our child's issues being neglected at school, blame was shifted onto the parents, with the child's diagnoses, background, and major birth trauma being disregarded or interpreted to fit the school's narrative.

The school is so big that there are bound to be children who slip through the cracks, many of those being the students with unique needs. Parents of children with special needs have ways of finding each other, and I know for certain it isn't just our child with special needs who has struggled at Three Creeks. Whether your child is neurotypical or neurodivergent, be proactive in communicating with teachers, admin, staff and specialists in monitoring your child's progress and behaviors.

The School Resource Officer clearly does not have experience with special needs. She didn't see our child's special needs for what they are and was unwilling to let us educate her about them, neither did she look into the child's school file to gather information when a situation arose. She exacerbated our child's attention-seeking behaviors and attachment issues, purporting to help in all reality, she created massive trauma for our family that we barely survived intact. Literally NO GOOD came from our interaction with the SRO--only lasting damage. Keeping the family unit intact should be top priority for schools, not tearing them apart.  Be watchful, be mindful.

It's worth noting that I could leave two entirely different reviews about Three Creeks. If I had only neurotypical children attending and was reviewing strictly on academics, I would say academics are above average. It can be hard, however, for middle schoolers to get into preferred electives. Some teachers are great, others are decent. Full-term subs have been a real struggle for us, especially in understanding and supporting IEPs/504s. The school hosts a handful of family events throughout the year, which are fun for the kids. AMP teachers and AMP experiences have been super great! Close Quote

If you move from out-of-state and your child's IEP or 504 plan is dropped upon starting at Three Creeks, the transition from having supports in place to no supports at all can negatively impact your child. Hire a special education lawyer or a special ed advocate immediately (money well-spent).

If you have an adopted child, DO NOT share their background with the school. They have discriminatory beliefs about adoptive parents and blame parents when a child struggles, regardless of diagnoses or major birth trauma (including challenges that result from being born severely drug addicted).

The School Resource Officer does not have any experience with special needs and can feed into and exacerbate a child's issues, especially attention-seeking behaviors and attachment issues. Proceed with caution! Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
