As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote Antelope Trails Elementary is a hidden gem!!!!

From the moment you walk through the doors at Antelope Trails Elementary, you are greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that reflects the school's commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all students. The school has a sweet, small, nostalgic feel to it.

The staff at Antelope trails Elementary are nothing short of remarkable. They are not only highly skilled, but they also go above and beyond by ensuring that every child feels valued, heard, and encouraged to reach their full potential. The teachers and staff have always been approachable and responsive to my family's personal situations or concerns.

As far as academic excellence, Antelope Trails Elementary is top notch. It is an International Baccalaureate (IB) school which provides emphasis and focus on the development of the whole child as inquirer, both in the classroom and world outside. The school also won The James Irwin award in 2023, which is an award given to schools that demonstrate exceptional academic achievement over time. My kids have grown leaps and bounds academically over the years. The school does not require nightly homework so that kids can be kids after school. Teacher's will provide homework if parents desire, but the school values time after school to be well spent with family and doing extracurriculars.

Additional perks are all the extracurricular activities that cater to the student's diverse interests: from chest and science club to art club and sports groups. They also engage families and the community through school dances, fun runs, family breakfast and BBQs, as well as school performances. These activities bring the Antelope Trails community together, making everyone feel like extended family!

I can't say enough good things about this school. My kids have thrived here and we can't imagine going anywhere else! Close Quote

Open Quote My son just completed 4th grade at ATE. He has attended ATE since kindergarten and has loved his experience at the school. ATE's IB curriculum has fostered a love of learning and exploring, as well as, created an environment that encourages kids to take on new challenges. The social environment fosters lots of interaction between students at all levels at his school. Both the teachers and the administration do a fantastic job each and every day, going out of their way to ensure kids have a supportive learning environment. Parents at ATE are both engaged and involved in various activities supporting the school. ATE is a great elementary school and would recommend it to new parents exploring schools for their elementary school -aged kids. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
